The search for Tumken Sora’s successor has officially begun. One the biggest state level beauty pageants in India – Mr. Arunachal is back with an all new season this year. The winner of the competition would get direct entry to the national finals of India’s biggest male pageant – Rubaru Mr. India.
The final auditions for Mr. Arunachal 2021 concluded on October 2, 2021, at Todo Hotel in Itanagar, with the selection of 25 candidates that advanced to the next phase of the championship – the Semifinals. The semifinals of the event would take place on November 3, 2021. After the semifinals, only 20 candidates will move to the final segment of championship, and at the grand finale of event, the new Mr. Arunachal will get elected. He will succeed the reigning winner, Tumken Sora, who is the current brand ambassador of Rubaru Mr. India organization. The new winner would serve as Arunachal Pradesh’s official representative at the 2022 Rubaru Mr. India championship. During the course of the pageant, the candidates would be judged on several parameters including confidence, personality, communication skills, presentation, behavior, social and interpersonal skills, and runway skills to name a few. The candidates would receive proper training and grooming in all the different segments prior to the final judgement.
About the pageant: Mr. Arunachal – Mr. Arunachal is one of the biggest and most prestigious state level pageants in India. The pageant is organized by Aries Corps under the leadership of Jack Taniya Budh. The winner of 2019 Mr. Arunachal contest, Tumken Sora marked Arunachal Pradesh’s debut at Rubaru Mr. India contest held this year (2021) in Goa and created history by becoming the very first delegate from the Northeast India to get chosen as the brand ambassador of the organization. At the culmination of this year’s Mr. Arunachal contest, Tumken Sora will pass on his title to his successor, who would shoulder the responsibility of being the face of Arunachal Pradesh at the 2022 Rubaru Mr. India championship.
About the pageant: Rubaru Mr. India – Rubaru Mr. India is India’s biggest and oldest running male pageant. The pageant is owned by Rubaru Group, founded by Sandeep Kumar in 2004, and Mumbai-based Pankaj Kharbanda is the current vice president of the pageant. This year, the pageant celebrated its 17th edition. It was a combined event for the years 2020 and 2021 after the pageant for the year 2020 was postponed to 2021 due to ongoing global pandemic crises. The pageant contributes more than 70% to the Indian male pageant industry and holds the record of producing the maximum number of international male pageant award winners in India. The pageant is associated with more than 10 different international pageants and modelling competitions across the globe.
