India’s representative to the next edition of international pageant – Mister Global, will get elected on April 8, 2021 at national finale of India’s biggest men’s pageant – Rubaru Mr. India. The 17th edition of Rubaru Mr. India pageant is scheduled to take place from April 3 to April 9, 2021 at Hibis Resort in Goa. At the culmination of the pageant, the outgoing titleholder, Rubaru Mr. India Global 2019, Rishabh Chaudhary, will pass on his title to his successor.
Mister Global is one of the biggest international male pageants in the world. The pageant is based in Thailand and is run by Pradit Pradinunt Co. Ltd. led by its founder and president, Pradit Pradinunt. Mister Global is one of the oldest international pageants associated with Rubaru Mr. India contest. As part of the long-held legacy and tradition, the winner of Rubaru Mr. India competition represents India at the Mister Global contest.
This year, former Rubaru Mr. India Global titleholder and international award-winning model, Prateek Baid will return to the pageant as the trainer and mentor of the candidates. He has joined the Rubaru Mr. India Organization as the pageant’s Ramp walk and Runway trainer. Prateek Baid was elected Rubaru Mr. India Global in 2016. The same year, he represented India at Mister Global contest and became the very first Indian to win the Best Model award. Till now, Prateek is the only Indian model and Mr. India winner that has won ‘The Best Model’ award and that even twice in the same year (2016).
Rubaru Mr. India is India’s oldest running male pageant. The pageant was created in the year 2004, and is owned by Indian pageant organization and talent promoting agency, Rubaru Group. The winner of the pageant represents India at Mister Global competition. The pageant is headed by its founder and president, Sandeep Kumar and Mumbai-based entrepreneur, Pankaj Kharbanda is the current vice-president of the pageant. This year, some of the most handsome and talented men have been shortlisted after a series of nationwide auditions to compete at the national finale. This year’s pageant will be a combined event for the years 2020 and 2021. At the culmination of the pageant, a new Rubaru Mr. India Global titleholder will be elected. He will hold the title for 2 years (2020 and 2021) and will serve as India’s representative at the upcoming edition of Mister Global contest.
