Rohit Paudel: Nepal’s Batsman breaks Sachin Tendulkar’s record, and became the youngest player to hit international half-century

Nepal’s Rohit Kumar Paudel portrayed his name in the cricket record and left behind the 29 years old record of our master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Rohit Kumar Paudel achieved this at the age of 16 years and he has 219 days let to reach 17 years, whereas Sachin Tendulkar hit his first half-century when he had 152 days left to reach 17 years of age.

At the age of 16 years and 146 days, Rohit Kumar Paudel has knocked 55 runs (58 balls) against United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a 3-match series in Dubai. However, he is still far behind of the fastest half-century scorer Shahid Afridi at the 16 years and 217 days in an ODI against Sri Lanka.

Nepal has won that match against UAE by 145 runs and marked a tie in the series by 1-1.
