PADMAN, featuring Akshay Kumar, crosses Rs. 60 crores in ticket office collection

Expected to release on ‘The Republic Day’ – PADMAN, featuring Akshay Kumar, has eventually hit the multiplex on 9th Feb 2018. The tickets had steadily sold at the ticket office collection, and the movie has endured remaining firm throughout the week. The comedy-drama had collected Rs. 3 crores on Thursday, bringing its total collection to cross Rs. 60 crores in just seven days.

PADMAN had firmed its ground in its 1st-week of release, and as of now, though today, two new movies Aiyaary and Marvel’s Black Panther have released, which might take-up the position of PADMAN at the ticket office collection.

A Black Panther type movie could hit and move a Hindi film’s ticket office earnings to its neighbouring place. Who knows the same will appear in PADMAN’s instance or not, and that is yet to decide in the upcoming days.

PadMan on the day-7 has continued to be in its uniform pace at the ticket office collection. The movie grossed Rs. 3 crores on Thursday, bringing its total collection to cross Rs. 60 crores in just seven days.

  • Saturday: Rs. 13.68 crores
  • Sunday: Rs. 16.11 crores
  • Monday: Rs. 5.87 crores
  • Tuesday: Rs. 6.12 crores
  • Wednesday: Rs. 7.05 crores
  • Thursday: Rs. 3 crores

PADMAN is the story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a man, who created a breakaway by designing and developing an inexpensive sanitary pad manufacturing machine. His story was also the thought behind the short-story – The Legend of Laxmi Prasad (produced by Twinkle Khanna).

PADMAN is a best movie in both family, women’s point of view.
