India’s Armaan Hakim won 3rd runner-up title at the 2021 Mister Model International championship, culminated on October 9, 2021 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Along with winning this prestigious title, he also won Best Internet Model special award and was amongst the Top 3 candidates in Best Headshot Model award category.
Armaan Hakim hails from Mumbai, and is Merchant Navy Officer and model by profession. He stands 6 ft. and 2 inches tall, and has black hair and brown eyes. He holds a degree in Nautical Science from the Indian Maritime University. Earlier this year, he won the Rubaru Mr. India 2020-21 competition, held on April 8, 2021 in Goa, and was chosen to serve as India’s representative at the 2021 Mister Model International championship. At the international championship in Dominican Republic, Armaan also became the highest placement holder from Asia.
About the championship – Mister Model International: Mister Model International is the biggest international male modelling competition based in the United States of America. The event is headquartered in Florida. The championship is organized by Tim Management Group, under the leadership of its founder and CEO, Luis Trujillo. This year, the championship returned to Dominican Republic after 6 years and Punta Cana was chosen as the host city. In past, nations like Thailand, the United States and India have also hosted this event. In India, the winner of Rubaru Mr. India contest gets the opportunity to attend this event.
About the championship – Rubaru Mr. India: Rubaru Mr. India is the biggest and oldest running male pageant in India. The pageant was created by Sandeep Kumar in the year 2004, and Mumbai-based entrepreneur, Pankaj Kharbanda is the current vice-president of the organization. As per the long held tradition, the winner of Rubaru Mr. India competition serves as India’s representative at the Mister Model International championship.
