FIFA announced on Friday that it does not have or declines La Liga’s proposal to present the domestic league game between Girona FC and FC Barcelona in the USA, this January.
La Liga’s proposal to present the domestic league game between Girona FC and FC Barcelona went to no way when the international soccer governing body – FIFA declines the league host plan that had planned for the next year.
The Spanish league pulled out a discussion when it dealt a 10-year+ agreement with Relevant Sports to make its presence vaster in size in the USA including a league match every year.
“FIFA had addressed this matter and opposed the proposal to host a La Liga game outside Spain even the Spanish FA does not want to host a game outside Spain,” Gianni Infantino said (current president of FIFA) in a council meeting.
La Liga will file a case against FIFA when it receives a notification (official) from FIFA about forbidding the match under Arbitration for Sport urgently.
