Fashion designer, Aurain Nayaab’s creation won the Best National Costumer (Second Runner-up) award at the recently concluded inaugural edition of international modelling competition for men, the Mister Model Worldwide competition. The event happened on December 22, 2018 at City Park Resort in New Delhi, India.
Aurain designed the costume for India’s representative at the contest, Suraj Dahiya. The winner of Rubaru Mr India 2018 contest, Suraj Dahiya wore the outfit for the National Costume segment of the said international contest. The costume very beautifully displayed the rich culture and heritage of the Indian nation. It’s scintillating colors and very intricate, sophisticated and well-detailed design gained massive appreciation at the contest. The shimmering and exquisite outfit made Suraj Dahiya look like a million dollar dream at the event. He looked like a charming Indian prince as he walked down the runway wearing the traditional Indian outfit during the national costume presentation of the pageant. Apart from designing Mr India’s national costume, Aurain Nayaab also designed the outfits for the sash presentation ceremony for the models from different parts of the world who attended this week long international fashion festival in New Delhi.

The Mister Model Worldwide competition is the first and only international modelling competition for me headquartered in South Asia.
