The winner of India’s biggest male pageant – Rubaru Mr. India, Armaan Hakim is on his way to Dominican Republic to compete the 2021 Mister Model International championship. Armaan will serve as India’s official representative at the said international event that will be participated by delegates from different parts of the world. The world finals and closing ceremony of the championship will take place on October 9, 2021 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Armaan Hakim hails from Mumbai, and is a merchant navy officer and model by profession. He stands 6 ft. and 2 inches tall, and has black hair and brown eyes. He holds a degree in Nautical Science from the Indian Maritime University. On April 8, 2021, Armaan Hakim was elected the winner of the 17th edition of Rubaru Mr. India contest, held in Goa. Along with winning this prestigious contest, he also won the rights to represent India at the 2021 Mister Model International championship.
About the pageant – Rubaru Mr. India: Rubaru Mr. India is the biggest and oldest running male pageant in India. The event is owned by Rubaru Group, founded by Sandeep Kumar in 2004, and Mumbai-based entreprenuer, Pankaj Kharbanda is the current vice president of the organization. As a long held tradition, the winner of Rubaru Mr. India championship serve’s as India’s representative at the Mister Model International championship.
About the championship – Mister Model International: Mister Model International is the biggest and most prestigious international male pageant based in the United States of America. The event is organized by Tim Management Group, under the leadership of its founder and president, Luis Trujillo. Delegates from different parts of the world compete at this international event. Over the years, the championship has been hosted by several nations including Thailand, India, the United States and Dominican Republic. This year, the event is returning to Dominican Republic after seven years.
