April 8, 2021 turned out to be a historic day in Indian pageantry, as for the very first time three Northeastern states – Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Sikkim – marked their debut at India’s biggest men’s pageant – Rubaru Mr. India, and ended up winning the highest titles at the grand finale. The candidates – Tumken Sora from Arunachal Pradesh; Songashim Rungsung from Manipur and Tseteej Shiwakoty from Sikkim – marked their respective state’s debut at the 17th edition of Rubaru Mr. India competition and won the highest awards at the event..
- Tseteej Shiwakoty from Sikkim was elected Rubaru Mr. India Global 2020-21.
- Songashim Rungsung from Manipur was elected Rubaru Mr. India United Continents 2020-21. He also won Best National Costume special award at the pageant.
- Tumken Sora from Arunachal Pradesh was elected Rubaru Mr. India Brand Ambassador 2020-21. He also won Talent award at the pageant.
The grand finale of Rubaru Mr. India 2020-21 competition culminated on April 8, 2021 at Hibis Resort in Goa. The event was participated by some of the most handsome and talented men from all across the nation. The candidates participated in series of preliminary events and interviews prior to heading to the finale stage of the event.
About the pageant – Rubaru Mr. India: Rubaru Mr. India is the biggest male pageant in India.
